Mimi and Ferne handmade jewelry is inspired by nature, design, art deco architecture, and the beautiful transformation in color and texture that metal goes through over time when exposed to the elements.
Through years of experimenting with various natural patina processes, I've developed formulas I can use to both subtract and add color, texture, and depth to brass and copper, yielding results that I hope are interesting, organic, and at times painterly.
